Are you tired of corporate-style veterinary practice? Frustrated at not seeing the same vet each time? Well look no further, the old times are rolling back. Blaircourt Pet Clinic is a modern, independent purpose built practice at the same premises as our long established Equine Clinic in Woodham Ferrers not far from Chelmsford, where we believe in providing a high standard of veterinary care in a relaxed and caring environment. Since the arrival of our dedicated small animal vet, Katherine Bott, the pet clinic has gone from strength to strength with a large increase in clientele, a consequence of the high standard of care given to your pets.

We have a strong emphasis on continuity of care meaning you see the same person and you and your pet can build a strong relationship with Katherine ensuring those dreaded trips to the vets are as stress free as possible. We have a friendly, approachable team and believe in providing veterinary care with honesty and compassion for you and your pets.

The Clinic provides an ideal setting for both owners and animals, as it is situated in beautiful countryside with plenty of parking and outside space for dogs. The building itself has been designed to provide both space and light whilst creating an ideal environment for cutting edge veterinary care.

At Blaircourt we try to put an emphasis on preventative care as we believe ‘Prevention is better than cure!’ but we are fully equipped to deal with most aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. We have a spacious area for case work up, diagnostics and non-sterile procedures as well as a separate sterile operating theatre.

We have an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray machine and ultrasound equipment for diagnostic investigation. Should a case need a specialist centre for more complicated procedures or further diagnostics such as MRI/CT we have good relationships with several referral hospitals. We also now offer in-house medicine and orthopaedic referrals service with Andria Cauvin and James Creasey, who will come to the practice for consultations, scans, endoscopes and specialist surgery.

Please feel free to drop in at any time for a quick tour of the premises or chat with Katherine or Penny, our dedicated member of the nursing team. Katherine is always available on the phone for informal chats or advice about your pet.
